Why Your Pillow Stops Working by Week 3
I used to wake up and know exactly how bad the day was going to be before I even opened my eyes. Just from how my neck felt.
Some mornings it was a dull ache. Some mornings I couldn't turn my head more than a few inches without wincing.
Every single time, the same small, deflating moment: still there. Same as yesterday.
I went through pillow after pillow trying to fix it.
Memory foam, buckwheat, one of the shredded-fill "adjustable" ones everyone recommends.
Every one of them felt like the answer for a few weeks. And every one of them, eventually, stopped being the answer.
Perfect height, right up until it wasn't. The one I actually liked best went from supportive to basically a pancake in about a month.
At some point I stopped believing it was me picking the wrong pillow, and started wondering if something else was going on entirely.
So I looked into it. Turns out almost every pillow on the market uses fill that's genuinely fine on night one and permanently compresses under nightly weight after that, the same way a couch cushion you sit in every day eventually stops springing back.
You can tell it's happening because the advice is never "return it," it's "fluff it," "dry it," "add more fill."
That's not maintenance. That's an admission the material was never stable to begin with.
I started calling this Foam Fatigue. Once I knew to look for it, it explained almost every pillow I'd ever owned.
So I built Night Cradle to fix it. Not one more pillow in my closet that quits in a month. A way to stop waking up already bracing for the same ache.

The 4 things we did differently
1. Built to resist flattening
Most fill feels great at first because it's too soft, which is exactly what makes it compress.
ShapeLock™ foam holds its shape well past the point where standard fill starts to break down, so the soreness that came back with every other pillow doesn't get the chance to.
2. Adjusts to you, two different ways
A removable insert lets you add or remove fill until the height fits. Still not right? Flip it for a second height. No size chart. No guessing.
